Eric Webster

Eric joined Silversmith Capital Partners in 2025 as Operating Partner, Go-to-Market. At Silversmith, Eric collaborates closely with portfolio company leadership teams to drive go-to-market strategies, accelerate growth, and optimize revenue operations.

With over two decades of experience leading and scaling high-performance teams at high-growth technology companies, Eric brings deep expertise in sales leadership, revenue operations, and market expansion. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Sales at Salesforce and was a member of the Global Senior Management Team. In this role, he led a $1 billion+ business in the growth segment, driving transformative growth, securing major enterprise deals, and expanding Salesforce’s market presence, including the creation and expansion of a new operating unit within the Commercial segment. Prior to Salesforce, Eric held senior go-to-market leadership roles at several high-growth technology companies, including serving as Chief Revenue Officer at Mighty AI (acquired by Uber), Accelerite, and Doyenz (acquired by Persistent Systems), as well as VP of Sales and Marketing at Blue Box (acquired by IBM).

Beyond his corporate leadership, Eric is deeply committed to fostering inclusive workplace cultures and is also passionate about mentorship and education. He has been a mentor with TechStars and previously served as an adjunct professor at Seattle University, where he taught international marketing and worked closely with students in coaching and mentoring capacities.

When Eric is not spending time with his family, he is often found in Vermont, knee deep in mud, unsuccessfully attempting to fix his ATV or more successfully learning how to drive a tractor. He is obsessed with baguettes, a compulsive baker, and a dog lover with two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, whose names happen to be Anne Boleyn and Henry, and a Great Dane—though it’s clear the Cavaliers are in charge.
