Silversmith Capital Partners, a growth equity firm focused on supporting the best entrepreneurs in technology and healthcare, today announced the addition of six new team members to the firm including Jennifer Karl as Vice President of Operations, John O’Connor as Senior Associate and Naveen Ailawadi, Cooper Harrison, Buddy Mrowka and Ofori Ohene as Analysts.

New team members include:

Jennifer Karl joined Silversmith as Vice President of Operations and is focused on internal operations and talent management, including recruiting, training and people development, for the firm. Prior to Silversmith, Jennifer was a Vice President on the Investment Banking Management team at Jefferies. She began her career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Sherman & Company. Jennifer graduated from Wofford College with a BA in Finance and Government.

John O’Connor joined Silversmith as a Senior Associate and focuses on investments in SaaS & Information Services, particularly Developer & IT Tools. Prior to Silversmith, John was an investor at TA Associates, and began his career on J.P. Morgan’s technology investment banking team. John graduated the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University with a BS in Finance and Entrepreneurship.

Naveen Ailawadi joined Silversmith as an Analyst and focuses on investments in Healthcare IT & Services. Prior to Silversmith, Naveen worked as an investment summer analyst at Aldrich Capital Partners and Access Holdings. Naveen graduated Georgetown University with a BBA, summa cum laude, in Finance and Operations and a minor in Computer Science.

Cooper Harrison joined Silversmith as an Analyst and focuses on investments in SaaS & Information Services. Prior to Silversmith, Cooper worked at Summit Partners on the Growth Products and Services Team. Cooper graduated from Dartmouth College with a BA, magna cum laude, in Engineering Sciences modified with Economics.

Buddy Mrowka joined Silversmith as an Analyst and focuses on investments in SaaS & Information Services. Prior to Silversmith, Buddy was a generalist at Pelotero, a SaaS startup in the athlete development space. Buddy graduated from Northeastern University with a MPS in Analytics and concentration in Applied Machine Intelligence and from Harvard University with a BA in Economics.

Ofori Ohene joined Silversmith as an Analyst and focuses on investments in SaaS and Information Services. Prior to Silversmith, Ofori worked as a summer analyst in a public equity fund at Neuberger Berman. Ofori graduated from the Stern School of Business at New York University with a BS in Business.
